Justin Fareed recognized as ‘contender’

The National Republican Congressional Committee announced that 24th District Congressional CandidateJustin Fareed has been named a “Contender” in the NRCC’s “Young Guns” program.

The “Young Guns” program was founded in 2014 by Congressmen Paul Ryan, Kevin McCarthy and Eric Cantor to help provide qualified GOP congressional candidates with the tools and resources they need to mount competitive campaigns against democratic opponents.

Also running for the seat: Democrat Santa Barbara Mayor Helene Schneider, Republican Matt Kokkonen, Republican Katcho Achadjian, Democrat Salud Carbajal, and Democrat William Ostrander, Independent John Uebersax, Independent Steve Isakson, and Democrat Benjamin Lucas.
